In this final episode, we’re going to look at the future of social media, what’s in store, and how to stay relevant. Today's interview guest is Dr Bianca Wright. Bianca Wright is an expert on digital practice and digital identities, and she has a particular niche in the use of gamification principles in education and journalism. Her projects bring together immersive forms such as 360-video and virtual reality with gamification to explore teaching and storytelling methods in fields such as education and journalism. She is currently Course Director and Senior Lecturer in Digital Media at Coventry University.

In this fourth epsiode, we're going to talk about social media's impact during the pandemic. Today's interview guest is Dr Zahid Butt who has been studying the impact of social media during COVID-19. Dr Zahid Butt is a physician epidemiologist and an Assistant professor in the School of Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo. His research applies a 'syndemic' framework to examine interrelationships between epidemics of infectious diseases, social disparities, co-morbidities, and substance use, using epidemiological, statistical, spatial and machine learning methods. He is also one of the authors of "What social media told us in the time of COVID-19: a scoping review".

In this third episode, we will continue our discussion on social media and psychology. Today's interview guest is Dr Linda Kaye who is a specialist in cyberpsychology. Dr Linda Kaye's area of expertise is cyberpsychology. She mainly focuses on how online environments can promote social inclusion and well-being. Social identity and stereotypes in digital gaming are two specific areas of study—the impact of online behaviours on perceptions and processing Gender issues in socially stigmatised environments. In this second episode, we are going to talk about social media and psychology. Today's interview guest is Dr Michael Mance who works in New York as a psychologist. Dr Michael Mance is a psychologist who specialises in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, and creative blocks. He holds several post-doctoral certifications and is a fully licenced clinical psychologist. He is a faculty member at both NYU and Pace University, in addition to his private practice. He has worked in various administrative and clinical roles, the most recent of which was as the Director of Behavioral Psychology at LETC Child/Adolescent Day Program.

Today's interview guest is a specialist in media and communications industries Dr Tony David Sampson. Dr Tony D. Sampson is a British critical theorist. He focuses on media technology philosophies, design thinking, social and immersive user experiences, and neuron cultures in his writings and lectures. Digital media cultures, social contagion theory, neuron cultures, affect philosophy, assemblage theory, and social media are among his many publications.
