Today’s reading brings us back to Exodus 25–27, where the tabernacle continues to unfold as a living picture of Christ. Even the coverings over the tabernacle preach the gospel: goat’s hair covered the place of God’s presence, reminding us of the sin offering and the need for sin to be covered before anyone could draw near. Every measurement, curtain, furnishing, and sacrifice is pointing us to Jesus.
