ಕಡಿದ ಮರವೂ ತಾನು ಮೊಳೆಯುವದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸದೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಚಿಗುರೇನೆಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತದಲ್ಲವೇ! ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಬುಡವು ಮುದಿಯಾದರೂ, ಮಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರು ಸತ್ತರೂ, ನೀರಿನ ವಾಸನೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅದು ಮೊಳೆತು ಗಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕವಲೊಡೆಯುವದು. ಯೋಬನು 14:7-9

For there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Though its roots grow old in the ground and its stump dies in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant. Job 14:7-9
