Because a nor'easter is loading up, and it's pointed right at us. Today was pleasant enough. About an inch of fresh snow overnight, then sunshine pushed highs near 35 degrees in the White Mountains by 1 P.M. Southern and central New Hampshire topped out around 34 degrees. Not bad for late February. Here's the deal. Tonight the bottom drops out. Southern New Hampshire falls to 15 degrees by 5 A.M. Head north into the central valleys and you're at 13 degrees. The mountains? A bone chilling 12 degrees. Winds stay light, but that cold air is just the opening act. Now here's what I'm watching.
