The White Mountains are stuck at 19 degrees, full winter mode. Drive south to the central valleys and you're feeling 37 degrees. That's an 18 degree swing across one state. Here's the deal. Step outside in southern New Hampshire and you'll feel 24 degrees with a light northeast breeze. Not brutal, but you'll want that heavy coat. Now head up toward Concord and the central corridor. Southeast winds are pushing temps near 40 degrees. Almost spring like. Your jacket might come off by lunch. But the Whites? Northeast winds are locking those peaks in the teens.
