SUMMARY

God calls Jonah to go and preach against the wicked city of Nineveh, but Jonah blatantly refuses and flees in the opposite direction toward Tarshish. Despite our tendencies to choose comfortable routines over divine calling, God remains persistent in directing us toward where we are needed.
