Fans have been hearing about the possibility of live action Star Wars television shows for decades. In November of 2019, as part of the launch of Disney’s new streaming service, we finally got one. While not on a network or even cable, The Mandalorian, is a weekly episodic series that eschews the saga of the Skywalkers and examines life in a galaxy far, far away from a different perspective.
