Cal-G, born in South Central Los Angeles, is a Pastor, Songwriter, Singer, Rapper and Producer. His love for music began as a child laying next to speakers and audibly picking out each instrument. As a teen, this love grew to addiction with Parliament, Cameo, Earth, Wind, and Fire and ironically, Roger Troutman. His Hip Hop experience began at 13 as a DJ and later as an MC at parties.
Later God hooked him up with Rufus Troutman III, the nephew of Cal-G's favorite artist, Roger Troutman.
