Who also happens to be her dad.
Bruce began teaching in 1964, and Lesley grew up immersed in the world of high school band. Football games, concerts, rehearsals, trips, fundraisers, and band students who felt like surrogate older siblings were simply part of family life. By the time Lesley became one of Bruce's students herself, the band room had already become the kind of place she knew she wanted to create for her own students someday.
