Your midday Minnesota weather update Severe thunderstorm watches are blanketing eastern Minnesota this afternoon, with three separate watch areas covering counties from Pine down through Goodhue. The National Weather Service has these watches in effect until 5 P.M. and we're tracking potentially two waves of storms moving through the region.
