Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly, and welcome to the Michigan Weather Podcast. It's Saturday, February 17th, and folks, Mother Nature is playing favorites today. Northern Michigan is getting snow. The rest of us? Just clouds and a chill. Here's the deal. Up north, you're sitting at 33 degrees with snow likely through the afternoon. Winds stay light out of the northwest, but visibility could get tricky fast. If you're heading toward Traverse City or Gaylord, slow down and give yourself extra time. Now drive south into West Michigan. Grand Rapids wakes up to 35 degrees. Cloudy, dry, breezy. Nothing dramatic. Keep heading southeast toward Detroit and you'll find the warm spot. 40 degrees with gusts around 12 miles an hour. That's practically spring by February standards.
