Meeting #06: Creatively Burnt Out and Flat as a Pancake
Esplicito
Some mornings you wake up ready to take over the world. Other mornings, replying to one email feels like you've just been asked to solve climate change before lunch. In this meeting, we're talking about those weird in-between days where nothing is technically wrong, but your brain is only running at about 60%. We chat about creative burnout, feeling flat, motivation, productivity guilt, and why sometimes the best thing you can do is stop pretending you're a robot and accept that humans have off days. If you've ever stared at your to-do list for twenty minutes before deciding to reorganize your desktop instead, this meeting is for you. Membership is automatic. // OK, What? is a © Popcorn Paw Production. 🎙️ New meetings every Monday. 🌐 Visit https://okwhatpodcast.com for episodes, transcripts, and more questionable conversations about being a person.
Meeting #05: ADHD
Esplicito
You opened this episode to learn about ADHD. Somehow you've ended up reorganizing your kitchen, researching deep-sea squid, and forgetting what day it is. In this meeting, we're discussing attention, executive dysfunction, hyperfocus, procrastination, and the beautiful chaos of living with an ADHD brain.
Meeting #04: Cut Your Damn Hair
Esplicito
Sometimes a major life change starts with a minor identity crisis and a trip to the salon. This week we're talking about fresh starts, shaking up routines, and why changing something small can make a surprisingly big difference when you're feeling stuck. No promises, but dramatic haircuts have launched many personal reinventions.
Meeting #03: Negative Thinking
Esplicito
Your brain is supposed to keep you alive. Unfortunately, it sometimes acts like a full-time critic with no hobbies. In this meeting, we explore negative thinking, worst-case-scenario spirals, and why our minds are so good at finding problems. We'll also test some internet life advice that should probably come with a warning label.
Meeting #02: Meditate or Die
Esplicito
A slightly dramatic title for a surprisingly useful skill. This week we're talking meditation, mindfulness, racing thoughts, and why sitting quietly for five minutes can feel like an extreme sport. If your brain has been running laps around itself, this meeting is for you.
Meeting #01: Perfectionism
Esplicito
Perfectionism sounds productive until you realize you've spent six hours adjusting the font size on a to-do list. In this meeting, we're unpacking why perfectionism keeps us stuck, how to stop waiting for the perfect moment, and what it actually takes to move forward. Plus, some truly questionable advice from the internet.
PSA: Mental Chillness died.. but we brought it back.
Bonus
Esplicito
Mental Chillness Club died. Not dramatically. Not in a blaze of glory. It mostly just wandered off into the woods in 2022 and never came back. But recently I went back and listened to the old episodes and, honestly? They were pretty funny. So we're bringing it back. Sort of. Mental Chillness Club is now OK, What?. Same host. Same questionable qualifications. Same world's least qualified support group. Just a bigger playground. We're still talking about ADHD, psychology, habits, overthinking, and the weird experience of being a person. But we're also making room for business ideas, internet culture, human behavior, life advice, bad advice, rabbit holes, existential crises, and whatever else has us collectively saying: "OK, what?" In this PSA, I'm explaining why the podcast disappeared, why it's coming back, and what you can expect moving forward. Anyway, let's pretend this was all part of the plan.
Bonus: Meditation for Linda
Esplicito
Linda has been talking all day. This guided meditation is your chance to politely ask her to take a seat. Join us for a short mindfulness exercise designed to help quiet negative thoughts, slow racing minds, and create a little space between you and your inner critic. No experience required. Linda is welcome too, but she doesn't get the microphone.
Meeting #00: Welcome to the Club
Trailer
Esplicito
Welcome to Mental Chillness Club, a podcast for people who are trying their best and occasionally forgetting why they walked into a room. In our first meeting, we're talking about what this show is all about, why mental health conversations don't have to be heavy all the time, and why none of us really have it figured out. Grab a seat. Membership is automatic.
