Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. Welcome to the Massachusetts Weather Podcast. It's Tuesday, February 24th. Folks, you woke up to nearly five inches of fresh snow from yesterday's storm. Beautiful to look at. Brutal to shovel. But the sun is coming out today.. At least for some of you. Step outside in Eastern Massachusetts and you're getting a gorgeous winter postcard. Mostly sunny skies. Highs reaching 30 degrees around 2 PM. Not bad for late February. Now drive west on the Pike toward Worcester and Springfield. Temperatures top out at 27 degrees, closer to 3 PM. Three degrees doesn't sound like much, but the wind makes it feel like a different zip code out there. Coastal folks, one quick note. Shallow flooding is possible around high tide this morning.
