A storm is sliding in, and it's splitting the state right down the middle. Here's the deal. Eastern Mass, you're catching the worst of it. Rain isn't just likely. It's a lock. Highs barely scratch 38 degrees with an east wind at 12 miles an hour. That raw, damp cold that cuts through your jacket? That's your Friday. Head west toward Worcester and Central Mass, and you'll find 37 degrees with the same soggy story but lighter winds. Now drive out to the Berkshires. It's drier but colder at 36 degrees with a gentle northeast breeze. They might dodge the heaviest rain, but I wouldn't bet lunch on it.
