Queer Belfast icon, Martin Murray was up until recently Vice-Chair of Quire Belfast and Ulster Liaison for Sporting Pride. He also founded Belfast Frontrunners, Aeracha Uladh GAC, Ulsters LGBTQ+ Sports Day and Ulsters LGBTQ+ Women’s Sports Day. He currently writes the sports articles for GNI Magazine and is also currently setting up his first Community Interest Company ‘Fair Game’ which will focus on LGBTQIA+ Sports Development in Ulster while also writing a book on the last 50 years of LGBTQIA+ Sports in Ireland.
