The top 5 books that I recommend in the first half of 2021.

These two years are challenging, but also an excellent time for reading. Reading a great book is like communicating with a sage. After reviewing the books I read, I choose five of them to share with you. Hopefully, they will light your life as they did to mine.

What do we really need from the society?

I know economic policies are the main factors of voting, but given the achievement that the US accomplished, shouldn't we ask for more than money? How about free will? How about respect? How about acceptance? Solely aiming to the economy is the hurt to our democracy and humanity.

We are not that far from wars, unfortunately.

Although we have modern civilization, our bodies still keep the primitive genes that easily trigger people to solve problems violently. We may believe that we are civil, but we also vulnerable and brutal as well. I was inspired by an article about the middle-east situations and religions so that I made this podcast focusing on the conflict between Israel and Palestine and some thoughts about our modern political system. I hope you enjoy it.

How can we keep our brain younger than our physical age? Is that possible?

The brain is the most crucial organ of a human being. Probably it also is the most vulnerable and mysterious one. You may be a smart person when you are young, but would this luck be lasting even you are 60 or older? Maybe we do not have as much time as we thought to do something creative or revolutionary. Let's hear what modern neuroscience and psychology say about our brain.

Have you seen Ivanka Trump's Instagram post on April 14? Have you read the comments below? I was shocked by the anti-vaccine comments, which spurred me to think about the anti-vaccine thing. I am honestly concerned about this country, given the myriad of people who deny modern science and medical achievements even though they have been scientifically reasonably explained.
