Luke: To the Least, the Last, & the Lost - Luke 7:36-50
Jobey McGinty
Some sins are obvious. Others hide behind respectability. In Luke 7:36-50, Jesus sits at a Pharisee’s table while a sinful woman weeps at His feet. Simon believes his own morality makes him closer to God, while the woman knows she has nothing to offer but repentance and love. Jesus exposes both pride and shame as dead ends. Self-righteousness can look healthy on the outside while quietly hardening the heart.
