Paul tells the Galatian church, "if you bite and devour each other, beware that you don't consume each other." Today, not just in our country, but in our churches, we are biting and devouring each other. We are lobbing verbal grenades and shaming anyone who doesn't see or believe things exactly as we do. Christians are turning on other Christians in their own churches, and many claim it is for the glory of God. But Paul makes clear that simply taking a stand for righteousness ("I follow Paul! I follow Christ!") does not mean we are actually bringing glory to God. Our attitudes, words, and treatment of others is of paramount importance.
