5 months have passed, and we've had a boatload of updates! I cover the big news items: We didn't secure the first venue we applied for, but have many exciting leads as the hunt for a space in Renton continues! I met with the Mayor of Renton as well as with commercial property owners excited and interested in bringing theatre and comedy to the city We applied for the Launch grant from 4Culture! We'll know in October if we are a recipient for support. We are now a nonprofit business in Washington! Next up: 501(c)3 application for federal status! We performed monthly shows in Renton! Venues include Luther's Table, Renton Civic Theatre, and Mountain Room: Bar at the R! We had auditions and grew our cast to staff up TWO shows: Director's Cut, an improvised film festival, and Rumpus, a raucous improvised musical! As of July 10th and 11th, we've offically started WEEKLY shows! Every Friday and Saturday we perform at 8pm at Freehold Theatre Lab and Studio in the international district. t5i.eventyr.io for tickets and more info! We're the artists in residence at Freehold Theatre! Thrilled for this partnership. We're still doing shows in Renton! Our next shows will be August 9th and 30th at Legacy Square!
