Folks, that warm front parked along the Ohio River is running the show today. Think of it like a gate swinging open and shut. Right now it's letting mild, soupy air flood the state. You walked outside to 65 degrees and gray skies this morning. That damp chill? It cuts right through a jacket even though the thermometer says spring.
In the next 24 hours. The front slides south tonight and drags storms behind it. North Central Kentucky catches the worst of it. Thunderstorms roll in after midnight with heavy rain. Half an inch to three quarters of an inch likely. Lows near 56 degrees. Down in Central Kentucky, rain chances sit closer to a coin flip tonight. South Central stays the warmest pocket.
