Good morning. Kansas. I'm Michael Mosby. Step outside and you'll feel spring showing up early. We're flirting with records today. Sunshine's pouring down statewide. And temperatures are already climbing fast from this morning's 53 degrees. By this afternoon, we're talking 76 in the northeast, 78 in south-central areas. And western Kansas topping out at 81. That's within striking distance of records set back in 1986. The spring equinox is just 11 days away. And today feels like a sneak preview. Winds stay light out of the south, gusting to around 20 miles an hour this afternoon. Perfect weather for a lunchtime walk if you ask me.
