In Romans 2:4–6, Paul confronts one of the most dangerous deceptions of the human heart: mistaking God's patience for His approval. Many assume that because judgment has not yet come, they must be safe. Yet God's kindness, forbearance, and patience are not signs of innocence, they are an invitation to repentance.

This message exposes the false security of self-righteousness, the reality of storing up wrath through an unrepentant heart, and the certainty of God's righteous judgment. Ultimately, it points us to the only hope for sinners: Jesus Christ, who bore God's wrath and offers His perfect righteousness to all who repent and believe.
