From launching the innovative HBCU Youth Week Experience to co-founding the solutions firm BeConnectedED, Bridgette’s mission is clear: to expose students early to the power, pride, and legacy of HBCUs. She shares with us the heart behind her nonprofit TeachHER, which empowers Black women educators, and her debut middle-grade book, The HBCU Crew, written to ignite a love of literacy and college exploration in young learners.
