Storms are an inevitable part of life. Some storms arrive suddenly, while others build gradually over time, but all possess the power to shake us to our core. In the midst of hardship, it may seem as though God is distant or silent, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Yet Scripture reminds us that Jesus is not intimidated by storms—He commands them. He holds authority over the chaotic forces of nature, which reveals a profound truth: if He can calm the sea, then He can also calm our fears and anxieties.
