Mary Magdalene returns to the tomb on Sunday morning and find it empty. She rushes to inform Peter and John, who run to the tomb to find it empty, just as Mary had said. It was only then that John finally believed. John had followed Jesus all along but it wasn't until that moment that he finally understood.
