The point of this episode is 1) to inform Christians who are not missionaries about the realities of deputation so that they can have a better understanding of what missionaries on deputation are going through and trying to do and 2) to help missionaries think through some things that have traditionally worked well on deputation that may no longer be working that well in 2022.
