Greensboro -- The Greensboro Police Department will dedicate a new bridge in Guilford County to honor Sgt. Dale Nix, a fallen officer, while a woman was seriously injured in a dog attack in the city. Local schools are also expanding free summer meal programs to support food-insecure families in North Carolina.
