The husband is to love his wife like his own body, as the Lord does the Church. Eph 5:28-29
A man is to leave his father and mother, and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one. V.30-32
Wives are to be in submission to their own husbands as the Church is subject to Christ. V.22,24
