Job is God’s gift to help us see suffering rightly. Though set amid suffering,

the book is ultimately about worship.

1. SORROW

Job shows sorrow has a place. Grief is not sinful and can coexist with joy in the Lord.

2. SEARCH

In suffering, we ask, “Why?” “Where are You, God?” “Do You love me?” Job lives with these questions

without a clear answer, yet remains steadfast and never turns from God.

3. SEE

Job moves from questions to seeing God. He learns that God is worthy of worship even amid loss.

Job asks: Is God worthy of worship when His ways are beyond understanding?

Satan says no. God says yes. What about you?
