We're already sitting at a mild 62 degrees. Metro Atlanta climbs to 69 degrees under sunny skies by late day. Head east toward Augusta and you'll hit 68 degrees. Down on the coast. Savannah reaches 65 degrees with a bit more of a north breeze off the water. In the next 24 hours. Tonight, the pattern holds with mostly clear skies. Lows drop to the mid-40s statewide. but here's the thing. Calm air and lingering moisture mean patchy fog develops before dawn. Eastern Georgia sees it as early as 2 A.M.
