Entering a trance-dream is much quicker with LSD and DMT, and there are entities and experiences which occur in hallucinogen-induced dreams, which rarely occur in religious-meditation induced trance-dreams. Shape-shifting mechanized elves, reptilians and insectoids are scare in Buddhist meditations. So are pod-creatures.
