Since we last spoke to him over the winter, Mainland's John Wood has - played his senior season of high school baseball, dropped a Top 25 country charting song ("Here She Comes," playing everywhere and produced by Lamon Records), graduated from Mainland Regional, searched for the perfect waves, kept a busy summer touring local establishments in South Jersey, written songs, and basically reinforced that the decision to go from D1 recruit to aspiring country music artist was indeed a passion he can't do without. A few weeks away from his arrival in Nashville (Belmont University, August 17, but who's counting?) we talk again with John on a special edition of JBS.
