Joey DeMucci isn't a Jersey guy -- yet! The star Philadelphia Catholic League catcher is about to become one though, as he recently signed his Letter of Intent to play college baseball in the MAAC for Monmouth University. DeMucci has been a star catcher at Bonner-Predergast HS for a couple of years and is developing into one of the area's best players. He can't wait to take his game to one of America's most improved mid-major conferences, to play in a league that's always ultra competitive from top to bottom. Monmouth is getting a gritty competitor just like his older brother John, who is now at West Chester after La Salle folded its program.
