Notre Dame's Dylan Palmer will be the first to tell you he doesn't "look like" the prototype D1 recruit - he's 5-foot-8, 145 (or so) pounds. He's also smart enough to know that here, anyway, size doesn't matter. Game does. And Palmer has plenty of it. He also has plenty of energy. And plenty of defense. And plenty of speed and line drives. And work ethic. Those are all things that attracted the staff of new Hofstra head coach Frank Catalanotto, the former 14-year major leaguer hired by Hofstra in July to remake the program.
