If you met Andrew Gaines and someone told you he was among the state's top high school players in a sport, you'd probably guess football first. And while Gaines WAS a good football player growing up, you'd be wrong. At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Andrew may look more like a star lineman, but the St. Augustine senior is one of the best PITCHERS in New Jersey. Gaines is one of the keys to a LOADED Hermits squad and recently committed to Iona College to be part of new head coach Conor Burke's first full recruiting class.
