Consoles launches are always an exciting time for gamers but a stressful time for studios. After the 360 era, Microsoft and Xbox were riding high. They had a super successful console life with tons of hit games, millions of sold consoles, minimum hiccups (HDDVD, right?) and it wasn’t until the end that PS3 started to catch up.

There’s no way they could miss on their next console, the Xbox One, right?

Well, things started off poorly from the very first reveal in 2013 and things did not get any better. From poor fan reception, minimum amount of exclusives, higher ups leaving, the fall was incredible seeing most 360 owners leaving Xbox for the PS4.
