Not exactly the Barbie of her day, Artemis of Ephesus was depicted with a chest that was sure to raise some questions. The goddess of midwives, childbirth, protector of fertility, protector of young girls and women, and defender protector of Asia Minor and Ephesus, Artemis of Ephesus has a lot of crossover with the Artemis of Greek mythology while blazing her own trail as a major deity with an impressive upper torso.
