Relationships are some of the trickiest territory in English — and this episode has you covered from the good times to the fallouts and everything in between. In part three of our phrasal verb mini-series, we're moving beyond the office and everyday life to focus on friendships, family, and the occasional disagreement.

We'll start with the good stuff: getting along well with someone, looking up to a person you admire, and hitting it off with someone new. Then we turn to the harder side of relationships — falling out with a friend or family member, being let down by someone who broke a promise, and needing to back off and create some distance.

Finally, we cover the vocabulary of repair: making up after a fight, owning up to a mistake, and trusting that things will work out over time.
