Between September 26 and October 3, 2025, Ecuador reinforced migration control operations in Guayaquil, Quito, Manta, and Huaquillas, leading to the inadmissibility of over twenty foreigners from various nationalities. The reasons included lack of economic means, falsified documents, or criminal records, in accordance with Article 134 of the Organic Law of Human Mobility. Thirteen travelers were denied entry in Guayaquil and five in Quito, with additional cases involving forged visas or judicial exit restrictions.
