The most joyful man in Rome was a prisoner. The apostle Paul devoted his life to seeing the advance of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As such he could be content - even joyful - no matter his circumstances. If that's not the case for us, maybe we need to consider where we look for joy. We're challenged in this passage to consider how the gospel can advance despite what might seem insurmountable challenges.
