Quixel Megascans, a library of 3D assets used in video game development, is transitioning to Epic Games' new digital marketplace, Fab. This move will take place in October 2024, and will make all Megascans content free until the end of the year. After that, Megascans will be available for purchase on Fab using a dollar-based pricing system, replacing the current points system. Users with existing Quixel subscriptions will have their auto-renewal deactivated and will continue to have access to Megascans until Fab's launch.
