Happy New Year! This is Part 1 of Zach's retrospective on SummerU, the flagship annual retreat of the European Union of Jewish Students that took place from 14-21 August 2023 in Malaga, Spain. With the help of attendees he interviewed - organisers of Jewish student communal life from Spain, Turkey, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia - he explores with Ben how these different stories can relate to a conscious diasporism.
