Meesha was born to Indian parents in America, the first of the entire family to be born out of the motherland. A highly educated and open human being, she runs Alchemystic Studio; a yoga space open to anyone wanting a spiritual experience, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender identity.

Sounds un-yoga, right, because yoga is for women in lycra in gyms using powerful music and playing with their chakras....? Speaking from her own learning and her own experiences, Meesha clears that up for us, discussing the many deities and genders in Hinduism, decolonising yoga and ridding it of whitewashing, and (controversial) how yoga practice existed hundreds of years ago outside of India....
