Note sull'episodio
From IndyCar action and grassroots dirt racing to a figure-8 driver who just can’t seem to lose, this episode of Racer Radio with Dave Stall and Brittany Sandoval is packed with racing news, track talk, and plenty of the back-and-forth that makes the show fun. Dave and Brittany cover national motorsports while keeping the spotlight firmly on the racers, tracks, and fans who make Southern California’s racing community tick.
The show kicks off with IndyCar discussion, including the race winner, Kyle Kirkwood, and a hard crash involving David Malukas and Sting Ray Robb. Fortunately, both drivers emerged safely, giving Dave and Brittany another reason to talk about just how far modern IndyCar safety has come. They also touch on NASCAR Truck Series racing, Lane Riggs, Frankie Muniz, and the never-ending Racer Radio debate over whether slot-car racing really counts as racing.
Closer to home, the conversation turns to Barona Speedway and the upcoming Southern California racing schedule, including Modifieds, Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Pony Stocks. Brittany also gets tempted by the return of Dwarf Cars to Perris Auto Speedway, while the crew discusses the future of racing at California Speedway and what the property’s sale could mean for motorsports in the region.
The episode closes with figure-8 racer Jesse Gordon, who has put together an incredible undefeated run with six straight main-event victories. Gordon talks about staying out of trouble in one of racing’s most unpredictable disciplines, avoiding damage, and why his wide, intimidating race car has earned comparisons to the Batmobile.
