In the previous psalm Asaph (the psalmist, or leader of the psalmists) remembers what God has done to get himself out of a slump. This psalm encourages us to remember and teach others what God has done so we don't forget who He is and turn away. It's a long one at over 70 verses so we only read from the GNT.
