Good morning. Connecticut. I'm Aaron Jolly. Fresh snow greeted you this morning. We picked up just under an inch overnight. And flakes are still falling as I record this. Step outside and you'll feel 34 degrees — that raw, damp cold that cuts right through your jacket. The snow tapers off by mid-morning, but don't expect blue skies. Patchy fog rolls in as temperatures struggle to 41 degrees. That's 32 degrees below normal for early March. Along the coast, northeast winds gust to 20 miles an hour, keeping things raw all day. Inland Hartford sits at 33 degrees with a brisk north wind. Eastern Connecticut matches that at 33. Here's the thing about today. It stays dreary.
