Good afternoon! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Connecticut Weather Podcast for Monday, February 23rd. Folks, Connecticut is getting absolutely hammered right now. A full blown nor'easter is sitting on top of us. And the worst is still ahead. Four inches already on the ground. It's 28 degrees with snow falling.. And the real punch lands at 11 A.M. That's when the heavy bands move in. Snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour through 6 P.M. You're not driving through that. You're white knuckling it. Eastern Connecticut takes the worst beating. Three to seven more inches with gusts screaming to 53 miles an hour. That's blizzard territory. Whiteout conditions.
