Folks, I'm not going to sugarcoat this. A monster nor'easter is bearing down on us right now. This is the kind of storm people remember for decades. Snow's already flying, and what's coming next is genuinely dangerous.
Here's what's happening. A bomb cyclone is forming off the coast. Pressure is cratering from 1005 millibars to around 965 in just 24 hours. That's the atmosphere throwing a tantrum.
Let's start along the shoreline. Coastal towns from Fairfield to New London? You're looking at blizzard conditions tonight. Winds will howl to 32 miles an hour with gusts near 50.
