Ellen and Kristen discuss the local fiber growers, the fiber artists, and their upcoming Fiber Arts Festival.

The Mountain and Valley Association's Fiber Arts Festival is coming to Durango for the first time October 3 and 4 at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. The festival traces its roots back to 1983 and celebrates natural fibers and traditional fiber arts with juried vendors, workshops, demonstrations, and live fiber animals including sheep, alpacas, goats, llamas and more.
