Classic Colorado whiplash coming your way. We're hitting 68 degrees this afternoon. Then waking up to snow tomorrow. That's a 30-degree nosedive in less than a day.
In the next 24 hours. Step outside right now and you're looking at 35 degrees under gray skies. But those clouds scatter as we warm up. Denver and Colorado Springs both cruise to 68. Over on the Western Slope? You'll hit 60, with rain showers popping up after noon.
Now here's where it gets sketchy. Red Flag Warning kicks in at noon for the Palmer Divide and eastern plains. Humidity crashes to 13 percent. Winds gust to 30 miles an hour. If a fire starts, it'll move fast.
